While this satisfies the requirements for a qualified orthodontist, Dr. Yelizar went on to complete rigorous written and oral examinations and presented examples of his own work to the American Board of Orthodontics. Finally, Dr. Yelizar became a board-certified professional, and diligently renews his certification every ten years.
